Navalis Magna Institute
Our mission
Navalis Magna Institute (NMI) exists to provide excellent international higher education across every discipline related to the sea and navigation. From the outset the institute has combined rigorous academic knowledge, professional experience and global reach, with the aim of training leaders able to tackle the complex challenges of the international maritime industry and port logistics.
NMI develops undergraduate, master’s and diploma programmes designed to meet high international standards, and our curricula are reviewed continually in line with the needs of the maritime industry and developments in technology. Recognition of each qualification depends on the specific programme completed and on the regulations in force in each country.
NMI students have access to advanced simulation laboratories, naval engineering workshops, placements at international ports, and mentoring programmes with leaders from shipping companies and shipyards. From the first year, we encourage immersion in real-world environments to ensure our graduates not only understand theory, but also apply real solutions in global settings.
NMI drives applied research, the development of maritime start-ups, and the creation of sustainable technologies.
