- Terminology of the portante struttura: the chiglia (the keel), Le Ordinate (the frames) and Il fasciame (the outer lining).
- Elementi della Coperta e Sovrastruttura: Il Ponte (La Deck), La Tuga (the booth) and Il Pozzetto (the bathtub or cockpit).
- Part of the Governo system: il timone (the rudder), the shovel (the blade) and the ruota or bar (the wheel or cane).
- Dimensioni e volumi tecnici: Lunghezza fuori tutto (total length overall), larghezza (manga), pescaggio (draught) and dislocation.
